Andy Raynor - Beyond the Brief |

You’re in business and you have advisers. You may think they give you good advice.
But you don’t know that. You haven’t the time to spare to spend your life on the subject. You’d rather be out there growing your business. This isn’t an uncommon
problem I’m telling you about. Most businesses find
it very difficult to assess whether the advice they
get is on the money (literally). And most businesses at
some time feel that they're being put down the
list in preference to other clients. Would you
like to feel like that? You assume that your
advisers will be able to provide you with the right
answer, and you’re probably right. It’s not what
marks out an adviser any more. Whether they do so on
time, before you’ve asked, with commercial
purposes and seasoned with a valuable additional
piece of advice, a contact or an introduction?
With a care for account management? Understanding
your personal objectives, entrepreneurial or
career? Or what your business really does? Have a think about this:
