All my working life I've wanted to invent a management theory. You know the kind of thing, the simple, single acronym that will transform your life. In my dreams I would then travel the globe striding the stages while disciples in "World Tour 13" T-shirts screamed and threw flowers and.....well, let's leave it at flowers.

Along the way I'd do the normal stuff - books, DVDs, new teeth. And then I'd enjoy the next 25 years living off the royalties and the personal appearances, do a bit of charity work and wait patiently for the gong to arrive.

Well I've cracked it. I woke up this morning with a vision of what life could be like if we chanted a single four-letter word in perfect rhythm.

I really mean it. Following this simple doctrine could build businesses, buildings, factories, offices. It could save lives. It could make your fantasies reality, add hours to your day, lift your sights and your spirit, make you happy when you're sad, better when you're ill.

Following this strategy there would be less negativity, greater health and improved fitness. We would get more clients, make more profits, have more friends, be better leaders.

Problems would be solved, recessions would be shorter, cash flow would be stronger. We would lead by example, lose weight and sleep better.

And so I googled my word.........and found out the Americans got there first. To the US Army it is the height of motivation.

The word, the strategy, the doctrine is "Goya", and it has exactly the same message in my world of leadership revolution as it does to the boys in fatgues. GOYA simply means....

....Get Off Your A*s.

Doing more of that is life changing.....are you still looking at the screen?
